Visit Wales - Stargazing With Astronaut Tim Peake
Client Brief:
Visit Wales c/o Orchard PR & Events were looking to for a temporary structure which could not only offer protection from the winter elements on a remote and exposed hillside in the Gower, Wales but also something clear to watch the sky night whilst year 5 and year 6 primary school children attend a special event with special guest Astronaut Maj Tim Peake.
What we delivered:
The 15ft/4.5m clear event dome was the obvious choice. Quick to install with a light footprint and high performance ensured the televised activity was able to take place no matter what the weather.
The illuminated dome provided a great visual focus too and some amazing camera footage was taken during the evening.

Inside the dome dressed with haybales the first European Space Agency astronaut, Tim Peake, revealed secrets of the universe to the children under some of the darkest skies of the year
