The Assembly House -
Pop-up Private Igloos
Client Brief:
The Assembly House is a Georgian gem in the heart of the city which has been hosting fabulous celebrations for centuries.
We wanted to create a pop-up private igloo this Winter for a cosy dining experience with a difference enabling guests to come together and enjoy sharing menus with a distinctly Apres-Ski twist or our Narnia afternoon tea.
What we delivered:
Designed by architect Thomas Ivory in 1754, no expense was spared in the construction of The Assembly House and while historians view it as one of the most important buildings in Norwich, we would simply describe it as the most beautiful venue in Norfolk.
We wanted to ensure this quality and level of finish reflected in the supply of two 15ft/4.5m diameter solid wood dining domes positioned in the splendour of the front lawn and accessed via the sweeping drive. The LED integrated lighting and Gull-wing door ensure the space is easy to access for guests and service and beautifully lit in keeping with the surroundings.
